Bluetooth device not detected

Hi,

opensuse 12.1 did not detect any bluetooth device on my dell inspiron15R (5520) laptop. The device has Intel® 2230 802.11n + Bluetooth v4.0.

Do you have rfkill installed? See if the interface is active first

/usr/sbin/rfkill list

Report back.

rfkill is not installed, I checked it. I go to yast and open bluetooth there it says “no bluetooth device detected”.

Install the rfkill package

zypper in rfkill

then run the command I gave you previously. We need to see if the bluetooth interface is disabled for any reason. Report back.
