The title of this is a bit misleading, but otherwise it would not garner any attention. This issue seems to have been fixed, key word seems. I’m posting this instead of opening a bug as it may/may not be fixed yet.
On a clean install of 12.2 GS 3.6 from stable, the bluetooth headset/s would pair fine, and connect after granting access. Then you would expect pulse/gnome sound to pick it up and nothing would happen, pulse/gnome never displayed an output device. I tried again just now after doing a couple updates and everything seems fine:
BUT I’m curious if the bug is still present or if the updates/newly installed software, has actually fixed it? Here is what has changed since it was last not working(note everything works fine under 12.2 gnome 3.4 default):
the bluetooth device is: Ralink 5390 CSR BS8510 Vendor identifier. 201871
