Hey,
I’m having trouble installing Bluefish.
I cannot find a usable bluefish RPM, YaST won’t find anything, and i cant make install from sources.
At ubuntu it was easy, just apt-get install and thats it. Or with compiling just make, make install and there you go, but on suse I get something like please specify file to make or something like that.
Anyway, any Ideas how to get Bluefish working ?
by the way, what is the proper way for make, make install ( Not experienced linux user… using linux for a few months only … )

You will find it in the OpenSuse-Education repository.
To install it : use Yast.
use the repository manager (in yast) to add OpenSuse-education.
use add/remove software (in yast) to add BlueFish.
use repository manager again to remove OpenSuse-Education from the list of
repositories.
I use BlueFish and I am happy with it.

your repo is for your operating system “SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop
11” while these are the fora of openSUSE, a related but different
operating system with different repos…there is absolutely no surety
that software for either system can be used safely on the other…
i wouldn’t ever try to mix and match…
i urge you to ask your question again, in the forum for SUSE Linux
Enterprise Desktop, accessible from here: http://tinyurl.com/422mrnu
those folks are much more likely to be helpful with your challenge…
