Blu-ray Player for Linux

Hey guys,

Has anybody heard anything on this matter?

I have been looking around and other than something for Ubuntu that doesn’t work very well, I have not seen anything, if anybody has any information about this, would you please post it here? especially if it is for SuSE.

Thanks.

Software or hardware?

I recently rebuilt my PC, and installed a LG Blu-ray drive SATA Model UH12LS28.

I tried that. I downloaded the deb file. When I try to use it, apper says its an empty file.

apper has never been taught what to do with a deb file…works real
well with an rpm though…and apt works great with deb, i hear :slight_smile:

Hi
Just extract the deb file, then the data file somewhere, then cd into
the usr/share/lxbdplayer directory, then run;

java -jar lxBDPlayer.jar "$@"

Does that work? If so look at using alien to convert the deb file and
install as an rpm.
