Yes, I think that’s the best thing to do (other than reinstall from scratch 
).
Those packages you have installed and are to remove don’t contain the driver though.
And install the nvidia driver like I posted here:

As I have seen now in your “cat /proc/cmdline” output, you are using kernel-desktop. So you don’t have to change anything in my instructions…
