Blender Cycles Live Rendering?

Alright, this might be a dumb question but every time I see a cycles render video online people have the ability to pan and zoom while the cycles is rendering the image. How do I turn this ability on?

If you’re doing a “real” render pass, I don’t think you can - you have to
set Blender up to display the rendered version in the editor windows.
Once you do that, just shift the camera (for the camera view), or use the
regular navigation tools to pan/dolly/rotate in the left/front/top views.

If you set your viewport shading to rendered, then
you will have the ability to pan and zoom the image while rendering,
Is that what you are looking for. The downside is every time you pan or zoom
rendering will go back to where it started.

That’s the terminology I was looking for.

It works much better if you have a CUDA-capable video card and set the
renderer to use the GPU rather than the CPU. I usually work with shaded
models until I’ve got what I think looks right, then switch the viewport
to render in order to tweak the lighting.

It’s really better using the gpu with cuda capability. The only hindrance is, it slow down
some applications that is running when rendering. I was looking at adding another graphic card
but the problem is, my machine has only one pcie-16 slot. I look in the net and I’ve seen solutions
like fitting the pcie x 16 card to the pcie x 1 slot. Is there someone here has tried this workaround and made it work?
