Blender and AMD GPU

I’ve been trying to get blender to use my GPU with no luck. From my searches i think i need some libs for HIP, but all the solutions i’ve seen i can’t get to work. I’ve tried to use blender both from the main repo and from the site.

I also tried this guide from reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/openSUSE/comments/13w42vt/having_trouble_setting_up_rocm_hip_opencl_on/

but i got errors with missing dependencies which i wasn’t able to resolve

You are running Tumbleweed but installing Software for Leap/SLES?

That does most times not work.

The AMDGPU-Pro drivers generally aren’t going to work for Tumbleweed.

It is possible to get Rocm working without the pro drivers, my websearch-fu is just failing me at the moment, I know people have done it.
