blank icewm locked me out

Hi all,

I was messing with the log in settings and trying different window managers, i choose icewm or windowmaker or something and it logs into that by default now, i tried ctrl-alt-del to get back to the green login screen so i can go back to choose kde 4 but that doesn’t work, so now i am stuck.

I tried going to a different console to startx, but it says it’s locked on tty7, how do i fix this little problem?

Thanks

Hi
Check the /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager and windowmanager files,
displaymanager should be gdm, windowmanager should be your required
desktop. You may have to restart the X server, best way is to make your
changes at runlevel 3 (init 3), then back to runlevel 5 (init 5) to see
your results.

Instead Crtl + Alt + Del use Ctrl + Alt + Backspace * 2 - this restarts your X server.
