black screen after sleep , t480 + nvidia + xfce

Thinkpad T480, nvidia + intel, nvidia driver installed. Works basically

But after closing the lid, and open it, the screen is black.

Interestingly I get the unlock window, so not black black

but I do not come back to my desktop

any suggestions how to solve that ?

I cannot comment about what the issue is but on my T480, bumblebee works perfectly fine should you try for that option
