Black Screen after Login following Todays TW Update

After today’s TW update when I reboot it gets to showing the KDE “light bulb” then goes to a black screen and stays there. No disk activity after that. The cursor moves but doesn’t respond to keyboard. Booting into the last snapshot works fine. The install showed no errors or conflicts. Any ideas?

I uninstalled the NVidia drivers and that fixed it. Guess I’ll wait for NVidia to update them before reinstalling.

Just for grins I reinstalled the NVidia drivers and the problem returned so I uninstalled it again.

Install the libelf-devel package, then try the nvidia install again…

That seems to have fixed it but it messed up all the kde desktop settings…

Alas, can’t help with Plasma… if the nvidia blob is working, perhaps look at a new thread on the issue…

Its ok now, just had to readjust text sizes and other settings.
