Bizarre problem in KRDC...

Hi,

When I try and connect to a VNC session from KRDC; and I am prompted for a password, the keyboard just decides to stop working. I can’t type anything into the password prompt… Then the keyboard stops working for all other open applications (Firefox etc.). If I close KRDC, it starts working again…

Is this a bug? Has anyone else seen this?

OpenSuse: 11.2 KDE 4.3.1 “release 6”

This is written to the console if I start from a terminal:

QWidget::setMaximumSize: (/VncView) Negative sizes (-2147483648,-2147483648) are not possible

i am never seen that.

My suggestion is try another vnc client, like ‘vinagre’ or a bare
‘vncviewer’.

In my system, I have to click on the “?” and after in the input line for the password. In this way I can type the password and all works. But I never had keyboard not working in other applications.

I have EXACTLY same problem. Can’t type anything in KRDC password prompt. Nor even after key “?” is pressed. I have no idea why is this happening.

Any solution?
