Bison webcam on msi wind u100

Hello,
I using opensuse 11.2 GNOME.
I read the tutorial on wiki pages. But dont find “/etc/modprobe.conf.local”. I donk know what i can do. Please help.

Sorry for my bad english. Greetings

Look at /etc/modprobe.d/99-local.conf

On 11.2, all modprobe configuration files are in the directory /etc/modprobe.d/

Ok i try do what is in wikis page (Installation on MSI Wind - openSUSE). And i get error:

dreiggy@linux-qmoj:~> luvcview -f yuv
luvcview version 0.2.1
Video driver: x11
A window manager is available
video /dev/video0
ERROR opening V4L interface
: Cannot send after transport endpoint shutdown

See if the driver is already loaded or not.

lsmod | grep uv

If you see uvcvideo in the output, the driver is loaded.

Try some other program, may be cheese, to see if it is working. I too have experienced problems with luvcview sometimes.

Now work  Thanks. But now hot do when i press Fn+F6 show meesage when cam is on and when off… Something like Fn+F7/F8 (sound control)…
