I am a Linux mint user, testing out opensuse, i might go over, i just have a question, i have 6 .bin files Baldurs gate cd 1 to 6, in mint when i click the bin file all the files showes up, but not in opensuse, it just ask me what program i want to use, can anyone plz help me? so i can install with wine.

assuming you have wine installed, answer “wine” when asked what program to
open the file with. how to set file associations permanently depends on
which desktop environment you are using, i.e., gnome, kde, or something
else. you also don’t mention which version of openSUSE you’re running, or
of wine.
You cannot run windows files on a lonux system. You need an emulator to do it and that is what phannisvara suggested. You have different alternatives to run windows games in linux and I would suggest installing PlayOnLinux. It’s the best thing to use to get the job done fairly easy. It will use the wine emulator.
