Bill Gates = :(

I would guess most of you are not fans
of big Bill. So here’s some knowledge to
fuel the fire. I know of someone who talked
to the Harvard professor who caught Bill stealing
computer code, he said also that Bill did not “drop-
out” of Harvard, but they asked him to leave.
He is a lies, cheats, and steals; his company is
not a tech. company, but a marketing one, that doesn’t
put out quality products.

Hmmm, third hand knowledge on the interweb from 30-ish years
ago…must be the truth. If he did does it really matter, not much you
can do about it now and he doesn’t really have much to do with
Microsoft. Now you are right his company is not a tech one, it is a
philanthropist entity out to help underprivileged people.

You really fuel the fire here.
Big blow!!!

I swear this the truth, on my heart,
and on Linux itself…

Thus a world with so many fences, why do we
need Gates?

Hearsay <rollingeyes>

This article refutes that Gates was asked to leave, or kicked out. Bill Gates “graduates” from Harvard 30 years after dropping out: News - Software - ZDNet Australia

Infact, a nice Google search bill gates harvard - Google Search was not able to bring up any reliable accounts of Gates being kicked out or asked to leave.

Remember…
Use Google.

Lol! Lol! I’m laughing and rolling on the floor! I know this since 1995! Ha Ha Ha! rotfl!

comments, many members in the linux community needs to get over their hate for anything that is more successful than them, it makes you people look bad. Anti microsoft, anti apple, anti the desktop you don’t use, anti the distro you don’t use. Wow, so much negativity from so many people in the linux community and it doesn’t look pretty to people from the outside thinking of trying it out

secondly i have much respect for bill gates and the work that his foundation does. When you have given a few billion dollars to aids research, cancer research, building schools, feeding the starving, etc, etc then maybe your view on him will mean something.

  • Jonathan,

time for a conspiracy theory then. “MS to fake Bill Gate’s curriculum vitae on the web so thoroughly there’s no evidence left.”
Volunteer’s?

Exactly. I’m sure my car dealer, like everybody else, has been cheating during a test in school, ignoring a red traffic light at some time, and maybe he even made an obscene gesture towards an old lady behind her back. Yet I bought a car from him. See, I’m not picky when it comes to moral standards (I admit I have been making obscene gestures behind old ladies’ backs in the past), but to me it looks like a lot of people here in the Linux community must be very limited in their private consumption if they apply their operating system moral standards to their local grocery store.

I agree fully with your 2nd comment. As for your first, I have
personally found this true of all communities. Windows forums are the
same when you bring up linux or mac. Apple communities are constantly
bashing windows. BSD bashes all 3. It is just human nature to attack
things you dislike and people that like those of what you dislike. Sad
but true.

Watch this film: Pirates of Silicon Valley, if you want to know more about Bill and Microsoft.

Maybe it’s time linux or at least OpenSUSE became the positive operating system. Let’s get rid of the anti this and anti that, and win people over by being positive. Let’s let the others bash distro’s, operating system etc, but ask that opensuse forum members don’t get negative towards other operating systems and distro’s, and let’s just show that opensuse is simply just great, with positive happy members.

Its everybody’s own opinion, and if you believe
that Bill Gates is a good (your wrong) and that he’s
done good work, fine, I won’t fight you. It is a good
idea to become positive although.

MS has been developing a new OS since 2003. It will replace Windows. Rumor has it that it’s based on Linux or FreeBSD. How do you spell L-A-W-S-U-I-T. Today Windows, tomorrow the World.

I’m getting so fed up with the Machiavellian miscegenations of a privileged few that I’m thinking about going back to quill and parchment.

We can run around about conspiracy theories, but with out proof…then it’s nothing.

Google and other search engines have a feature where they cache web sites. I doubt Google would eliminate material on a subject like this, since this is part of how Google gets paid. But hey, it’s a conspiracy right? Microsoft paid Google and other search engines, and the various web sites themselves, to remove such content. Thus infringing upon the coveted first amendment. But I guess conspiracy theories, and irrationalism wins out in the end.

You could try and look up the curriculum I went through at ITT Tech, but you won’t find that either. If you looked, Bill Gates is considered Class of '77. I went to ITT in 91, and the curriculum for my class is gone. Replaced by more modern curriculum.

We make ourselves to be so much better than those before us. The Salem witch trials. We look at those and think of the horror, yet we still do the same thing today. Evidence? We don’t need evidence! We have a conspiracy!
