after installing suse 11 theres no boot manager - only a error “Betriebsystem Fehlt” !!
what can i do ?!
All you can do is reinstall. Unfortunately, that is bound to happen (although rarely mentioned) in certain scenarios. For instance, if you chose the XFS file system at install, Grub will generally fail because there’s not enough space left in XFS for Grub’s files. Another frequent problem is if you want to install Grub loader on your boot partition while your MBR is located on another partition: the grub-install script may well fail to install, exiting with an error.
