Best Windows/Linux ISO Bootable USB Thumb Drive Maker For openSUSE Linux?

Hi,

Just wondering what the
best Windows/Linux ISO bootable USB thumb drive maker for openSUSE Linux
is?

I’ve tried several but don’t have a favorite.
Perhaps I am not using the best one…

Let me know, thanks!

Jesse

Hi
The dd command… use Rufus and select that and should be good (not tested here), but I would fire up a rescue image of Tumbleweed and use imagewriter…

Hi,

I know of Rufus:
https://rufus.ie/
But it only runs on Windows.
Looking for something that would run on openSUSE…

Jesse

sudo zypper in imagewriter

then

imagewriter

I mostly use

pv ISO | dd of=/dev/sdX bs=4M

but if I want to show someone how easy it is … imagewriter. It will ask for the root password when needed.
