Best way to have KDE 4.3 RC2 in openSUSE

What is the best way to have openSUSE 11.1 with KDE 4.3?
It is ok to install suse with kde 4.1 and then update to 4.3? I believe it will make some issues
Maybe installation with minimal interface, adding KDE factory repos and then installation of KDE would be better?
Or should I wait for openSUSE 11.1 KDE 4.3 Reloaded? But will it have openSUSE branding?
What do yuo think?

First, what I did was I disabled the auto login full how to by caf here:
Disable Auto-Login - openSUSE Forums
Second,I installed the XCFE Desktop as a backup
Here’s a post I made on that with screenshots:

All of the above do in while in KDE 4.1
While I think you’ll be OK going from 4.1 to 4.3 I’d install from the 4.2 repos 1st. Stay with 4.2 for a while because the official 4.3 release is very soon 30Jul IIRC. Once that happens the update might be a little easier.
But do keep that XCFE DE handy just in case.

To make a long story short: i had a fresh install with only Kde4.1, the one shipped with os11.1. I was really unsatisfied so upgraded to Kde4.2 via the repos: bad. The Python support was broken. When the rc2 has become available i decided to install it with the one-click install and … Bingo! Now it really works even if it is an rc! So i think that you can upgrade surely but if you don’t already have Kde installed then start whit a fresh install with one-click.

Hi. caf4926 wrote a nice howto: KDE4 Name Changes - Making the transition - HowTo - openSUSE Forums Good luck!

Thanks  That’s what I was looking for
