Best Remote Access (RDP) Application

Hi,

What’s the best remote access application for OpenSuse (15.2) ?, although I now have a laptop running OS I am using my behemoth tower more as a server (DHCP/DNS/Samba etc) and so still need the ability to graphically log onto to it.
I was trying to use Webmin but it doesn’t see the DNS or DHCP “servers” and lists them in the uninstalled modules list, so think RDP (for me) is the way forward.

Use vnc: KRDC, tigervnc, remmina etc.
https://en.opensuse.org/VNC
https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Remote_access
https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000016976

There are many sites that describes howto install/enable vnc server and client.

I use this for just about everything for years now. https://www.nomachine.com/

One more option X2Go, the opensource option for NoMachine’s NX

http://packages.x2go.org/opensuse/

Works good for me.

Hi,

I’ve used Remmina for years now, it’s a really good all rounder. Use it to log on to Windows and Linux devices. Never have any bother with it, and it’s fairly straight forward to use.
