BENQ T214WA monitor problems

I have a BENQ T214WA monitor that is causing me resolution/sizing problems. On the default installation and while using the screen resolution tool I end up with an odd screen size which results in the bottom of the screen being hidden. Basically the monitor is unrecognised.

Anyone a solution for getting a screen resolution that fits this monitor?

Hi
Have you tried loading the monitor inf driver off the cd-rom when
configuring via SaX, there is an option button on the screen…

No driver!

Hi
You mean no driver cd?

Did you try entering the physical screen dimensions in SaX?

No driver Cd or driver on their web site.

Used Sax2 but the only fit I could get even with a lot of adjusting was way down in 800 - pretty big for a 24" monitor lol!

Hi
Hmmm, you can manually enter the physical size of the lcd panel in mm
for vertical and horizontal size?

You should be selecting the following in Sax for you monitor;
Tab #1 LCD-> 1920x1200@60Hz
Tab #2 Display Size 24" 16/9 and enter the vertical and horizontal
manually if they are not correct (get the tape measure out)
Tab #3 Frequency Horizontal 30-94 Hz Vertical 50-76 MHz

Test, and manually tweak (or if your monitor has an auto size feature
press the button to activate from the OSD)

Thanks got it - when I use 1900x1200 resolution and press the autosize feature I get a decent screen. Its the only resolution it will work on though!

Many thanks guys!
