there is a forum here that deals only with programming and
scripting…i’d guess you can get a quicker answer there (there may be
no scripting gurus here:)…
try posting in http://forums.opensuse.org/programming-scripting/
and, you might just mention what you mean by “after the system is
booted”, that is if it is a (for example) headless server you might
want the beep as soon as the desired run level is reached…
but, for a laptop you might mean you want a beep three seconds after
KDE (or whatever–and SAY what you are using) has finished loading…
