bcompare3 libraries

I have a copy of Beyond Compare 3 for linux and windows.

But since I hardly use my windows partition I need to install it on OS11.

I tried installing it using these two commands to install it:

‘rpm -ivh BCompareLinux_080829.rpm’

‘yast -i BCompareLinux_080829.rpm’

Then I tried running it using a launcher in KDE menu, I got a bouncing cursor icon and it never starts.

Then I tried running ‘bcompare’ from the terminal and I got this error:

Should I install it using the .tar.gz of the same name(I haven’t ever tried to install from the files within one of these before, nor have I ever compiled from source files before, but I am willing to try)?

Does anyone know of any handy how-to’s on this?

or

Would It be easier for me just to find a .rpm for these libraries I am missing(I couldn’t find the first two in any of the community repositories)?

Take a look here: (especially the last post)
