BCM4313 problems

I have a Dell Latitude 2110 with a DW1501 which uses the Broadcom BCM4313 chipset running openSUSE 11.3. I have installed the BRCM80211 driver for it and it doesn’t work.

dmesg doesn’t give me any info whatsoever on my wireless hardware

lspci

iwconfig

lo        no wireless extensions.

eth0      no wireless extensions.

I went to the following location and downloaded the driver and the readme file.

Broadcom.com - 802.11 Linux STA driver

I followed the readme and got them compiled and installed and they worked just fine for me. There is a long thread on the subject here you can read.
