I think I’ve read every post here about the Broadcom and connection.
I thought I tried everything…
Turns out (read Chapter 35. Using NetworkManager) using Connection Manager (K Network Manager) you can not use, what I wanted to use, ‘all users, use connection’ or said another way, the wifi would be activated and connected Before the user ‘logs in’…
Well, as I said, it turns out that if you are using gnome, this will work with NetMgr, but NOT in KDE.
If you want to use ‘system connect’ then you have to use ‘traditional’ if in YaST2…
Oh well, at least ‘i’m’ connected… (i’m the only user, so not a big deal right now, but would like to get it working…)
just sayin’
