Battery wont charge more than 80% and brightness

hello guys, i recently installed OpenSuse 12.3 (and deleted everything else) so i was having problems with nvidia optimus, but now i’ve solved it so i can go further with my others problems, and they are:

  • battery wont charge more than 80% (gnome battery indicator)
  • i cant use FN+f5/f6 to set the brightness

my ultrabooks is an Asus S46CB with this features:

  • Processor
    Intel® Core™ i7 3537U
  • Chipset
    Intel® HM76 Express Chipset
  • Graphic
    NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 740M with 2GB/4GB DDR3 VRAM

so lets start with the first problem, the battery:

when i was in windows the battery charges at 100% but when i installed opensuse i saw that i wont go further than 79 or 80%, i’m always connected to the charger, so it should charge to 100% but it doesnt. so looking for some info i run the next command

acpi -V

and it has something strange, at first it gave that it has 79% (like the gnome battery said) after that i disconnected the charger and run the command again, but i got that i had 88% (so wtf?), i connected the charger again and it show me that i have 88% and gnome battery indicator update to 88% but now, it isnt moving again, i have 88% for like 40minutes ago.

someone knows how to fix this? do you need some information? its about the kernel?

second problem: brightness
well this at first i couldnt configure the brightness, but after adding some options to grub i could ajust the brightness with de gnome battery control, BUT my FN+f5/f6 are not working, how can i assing the brightness control function?

thank you so much.
