Battery Usage More?

I just installed, and I’m noticing that my battery meter is basically a timer. Coming from Ubuntu and Mint, where my laptop could get 3 hours, 3.5 on a good day of moderate usage. Now under 11.1 and 4.2, I’m getting less than two hours. This can’t be common.

Any tips?

Any tips?

Install the package called powertop (do search for it in yast) then open your konsole and type:

powertop

to find out which processes are consuming more power. (Skyper, KTorrent, Amarok have many wakeups).
