Bash - kde dialog - select folder bug

               Folder_Selected=$(kdialog --title "Scan Virus - Select Folder" --getexistingdirectory / 2>/dev/null)

popup window → select bin folder → click open → open button greyed out

KDE is asking for a filename, not a folder.

Is this a KDE bug that’s been reported? If so, when might it be fixed.

Thanks that’s what I needed to know.

‘scanvirus-gui’ won’t work now. I can leave it or just print the correct ‘scanvirus’ line with ‘home’ as the folder name. Let the user correct the line. I think the last update has the later fix.

I’ll have to wait for KDE 6 or hope they will patch the bug.
