Hi, how can I enable/disable the use of the RePag and AvPag keys to
search on the bash history?

On openSUSE when I type “ssh user” and press RePag key it complete the
last command that begin with “ssh user”, but I want to enable it on a
server with an ugly RedHat 4

I found it!

The file with that settings is /etc/inputrc

#"\e5~": beginning-of-history
#"\e6~": end-of-history
“\e5~”: history-search-backward
“\e6~”: history-search-forward

I haven’t managed to work out how you reload these particular settings
without logging out and logging back in again. Suggestions for how to do
this are welcome.
