I am having problems with Banshee 1.4.1.
It doesn’t play internet radio (steams). The same stream is played with no problem by VLC.
I have opensuse 11.1, gnome desktop and have installed the restricted codex’s via one click install from opensuse web-page.
Media files (music, films, .avi, .mpg) play normal even in Banshee.
I have installed Rhytmbox but it also refuses to play the stream (mms://streamy.orf.at/fm4_live).
i also use Banshee and they don’t stream anything other than Last.fm, which is i think one of the major problems with it. check out their website and you’ll see they do not mention streaming under the compelling features…
Well I have an Radio icon below the Last.FM icon, where it is possible to ad radio stations (but they don’t play).
And in EDIT->Preferences->Extensions I have Internet Radio extension (enabled), disabling makes the Radio icon dissapear.
