I have been having problems with pulse audio not using the bass channel, I tried MPlayer just recently and that seems (as far as the volume meter is concerned) to not use pulse audio, and does produce output on the bass channel, so I was wondering if MPlayer really does manage not to use pulse or is it that Banshee is just not sending pulse a bass signal?
If it is the latter then does anyone have any idea how to solve that problem, since I much prefer banshee as a music player.
i use rhythmbox music player and is very good
I must be missing some dependencies or something, although YaST didn’t mention it, since when I open rhythmbox it just gives me the waiting cursor for a while and then does nothing

Past two hours i’ve reinstaled openSUSE 11.1 two times, after it dies!
I’m just try to play .rmvb movie via mplayer in terminal, hit enter and SUSE die :P.
After then i’m reset power, black screen:
“No operating system instaled”
It’s amazing bug for me!

Don’t think I can be too much use there, however is it just that paticular file type that causes this or is it all video files, if it’s the latter I’d say it would be a graphics driver bug, the former then it’ll be an issue with the codec for that file i presume.
