baloo search does not work in 13.2

Hello. Baloo seems to the new indexing and searching application for KDE
desktop, but it does not work. I use internal search very frequently
(documents), and is a real need for me.
Do you know something about this issue?

Thank you in advance

Well, I have finally fixed it, enabling and starting it form the CLI:

baloooctl enable
balooctl start

Alberto

Should be able to do that from the Configure desktop settings. But command line should work also.

No issues here. Enabled from configure desktop and working as it should.

Now the problem is that it uses nearly all the CPU,making the system
unusable…

Wait the indexing can take a long time and use a bunch of CPU. You could also limit the indexing to just directories you need. Again in Configure desktop you should be able to set that. At least you could with previous indexers.

yeah, it’s still there. Much simpler interface than nepomuk

After several hours of indexing, now it’s OK.
