Backup and restore data

Dear all,
Unfortunately I have been using an antique version of SuSE that is 10.1. However, I would like to shift to the latest version OpenSuSE 13.X. Could you please help me to backup all the data in 10.1.
Main application are:
Apache hosting a small web portal - php , mysql used as data base
Iptables, squid for firewall (2 NICs used)
shared drives with samba
gateway to the LAN

May I kindly get a detailed idea before I proceed my work.

Thank you

Regards,
Dinesh

You know that you can upgrade it, in perhaps 3 or 4 steps, using the
offline upgrade procedure, all the way to 13.1? Jumping two or three
versions each time.

Offline upgrade

Make a copy of every file, using rsync, to another hard disk. Then
install 13.1 fresh, and install everything you need, from scratch,
again, looking at the configuration files stored in the backup for those
applications as a guide.

A better alternative is, after doing the backup, install fresh to a
different partition instead, and work thee recreating all those services
and apps. As this takes time, you can still boot the old partition when
needed. Or just to find out how it worked.

You need, of course, current knowledge of those applications and
services, to know what you have to do. In this situation, it helps to
read the written notes taken when you did it all the first time…
