Back to 3.5 from 4.0 KDE

I have to use 11.0 but have a lot of trouble with KDE 4.0. Can someone tell me how to get to 3.5 or hopefully make it default to that on boot?

make sure you have the kde3 base and desktop packages installed
yast - software management
from patterns, select kde3 base and kde3 desktop

if you have auto login enabled, disable it, again via yast - security and users- user and group management
in the expert options (lower right) select login settings, uncheck auto

at next login, green screen, from lower left you can choose kde3

Thanks, now the instalation recognizes my Intel Wireless Card. :slight_smile:
