back again to can not log out of http forum

[sigh] routine:

  1. click “Log Out” at top of any forum page

  2. see “You have successfully logged out.” on
    https://www.suse.com/common/util/logout.php

  3. close that page

  4. click (for example) http://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php?t=477897

  5. land on that page, still logged in [see http://susepaste.org/96844634]

  6. repeat [/sigh]

the only good part is: today i don’t have to wait minutes to get to any
of those pages…

hardware/software (using chrome, didn’t try other browsers) in sig

I’ll chat with Kim about this as soon as I get a chance. This is just one more issue with our authentication plugin, and we really need to start looking for a developer who can fix it. Thank you for bringing it up.

welcome…its been ‘fixed’ a few times over the past several
years…something keeps introducing the problem anew . . . and, it just
did yesterday…so, i reported it…

today’s good news: after an overnight shutdown and boot up, i’m no
longer signed in…

so, i log in (and it is still passed to another server and processed
quickly!!

BUT–today’s bad news (because it is inconsistent): when i log out, it
does exactly as it should…
