Avogadro crashes when I try to draw a molecule

Hi to all,

I’m using opensuse10.3 with kernel 2.6.22.13-0.3-default i686, running KDE 3.5.10 “release 28.1” on a AMD Athlon™ XP Processor 3000+ with a GeForce4 420 Go 32M loaded with nvidia driver (3D enabled).

Today I have installed Avogadro 0.8.0, but it crashes as soon as I try to draw any molecule.

Anyone else had this problem?

I’ll try windows version, but I’m writing my thesis and I need absolutely this program to work on my laptop

avogadro-0.8.1-18.1 x86-64 from Education repository works correctly on my openSUSE 11.0 GeForce FX 7600GT with 177.80 drivers.

Anyone had similar experience with a configuration similar to mine?
