autoyast stops pauses hangs waits at an OK prompt

autoyast (suse 10.4) is detecting a “fake” raid (WARNING: This system has at least one hard disk with a RAID configuration presented by the BIOS as RAID that is in fact a software RAID. The following disks were detected as part of such a RAID: /dev/sdb /dev/sdc …) and is prompting for an acknowledgement of this condition. My partition config does not mention sdb or sdc but autoyast seems determined to tell me about this unrelated issue.

I am totally OK with this RAID config and need autoyast to keep going – how do I put the ‘auto’ back into autoyast? Is there an “ignore” or “force” option somewhere? (hours of searching web and pdf documents reveal nothing)

There wasn’t an openSUSE 10.4 - are you perhaps looking for help with
SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 SP4?

If that’s the case, you’ll want to visit http://forums.suse.com for
assistance - the enterprise SUSE and openSUSE project are distinctly
different (SLE is based on openSUSE).
