I’m trying to configure an automatic installation via autoyast on opensuse 12.1.
I have already install autoyast2 package with dependencies.
Then I launch my “yast2 autoyast” from my terminal and click on “software” menu to select packages that i want to install, for then “create reference profile”. There is no errors messages.
But when i want to check with yast tools “check the validity of profile”, i have this error.
“/usr/bin/xmllint --noout --relaxng /usr/share/YaST2/schema/autoyast/rng/profile.rng /tmp/YaST2-19067-lG6193/software.xml
/tmp/YaST2-19067-lG6193/software.xml:4: element software: Relax-NG validity error : Element profile has extra content: software
/tmp/YaST2-19067-lG6193/software.xml fails to validate”
I made these tests on various versions of opensuse as 13.1 and 13.2, but i have always the same problem.
Someone can help me please?

Can we assume you want a solution for this on 13.1 and/or 13.2? Because 12.1 is out of support and not very many of your fellow users here will be able to check how it works on it.

Please use CODE tags around copied/pasted computer text in a post. It is the # button in the tool bar of the post editor. When applicable copy/paste complete, that is including the prompt, the command, the output and the next prompt.
Yes, of course. If I can repair this problem with the latest version of Opensuse, there is no problem on the contrary.
In fact, I am in the search of a operating procedure to configure autoyast. Because i don’t know if my manipulations are correct for creating and validating a profile xml.
I do not know much about autoyast, but as I see this, you need somebody with autoyast knowledge. When that is correct, mentioning the word autoyast in the title would have been a good advert for your problem.
