Autostart Network interfaces ?

Hello y’all!

My fileserver does not initiate the network interfaces:
eth0 - cable modem for ICS
eth1 - LAN
I have to login as root everytime, start network settings and enter the DNS settings (internet provider’s) and then ‘Finish’
Upon doing this a network manager applet pops up on the bar below clicking which lets me select the interfaces to activate and then the network is up and running.

How do I automate this process so the machine is up and running with no interference whatsoever?

You probably don’t require NetworkManager at all. Instead, use yast to set traditional ifup method and configure these interfaces to start up at boot.

 yippee! tell me how!
