Autoplay DVD with VLC on suse 42.3

I installed VLC and updated the codecs
and i want to autoplay my DVD with vlc
when I insert the dvd. How do i set autoplay for VLC ?

what Desktop environment are you using and what exactly do you want
on plasma 5 when you insert a video DVD the Device Notifier applet offers you a menu of available actions “Open with VLC Media Player” is one of them
if what you want is the vlc application to be automatically launched when you insert a dvd I don’t think that’s possible
