Hello. I am using OpenSUSE 11 with KDE and am having problems with the automount feature.
Every time I plug in a device, USB or Firewire, or insert a CD or DVD, KDE asks me what I want to do with the device/media. When I select “Open in New Window” I get the following message: “org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-removable no ← (action, result)”. I can mount the device or media directly through a console without any problem. The automount worked just fine in OpenSUSE 10.3.
Any help is appreciated.

There was already another thread about automount in suse11.I can not remember what all the outcome was.So there are more people with the same problem Try to search this forum.
All I knew is if I put a cd or dvd in my drive
it come up with the actions I can perform even is suse11 With usb devices I plugged in before boot and then it is automount
