Just did an refresh/dup, to (I believe…) 20241129, and the system did an automatic reboot??
No option to not do it, just went straight to a reboot screen…
Has come back up, and all looks OK (luckily I wasn’t doing anything serious)
Anyone else?
Running Wayland/Plasma.
Hi,
Mine did a similar thing a few days ago. I wasn’t so lucky - I had to roll it back to get it going again. This is not the first time this sort of thing have happened. I just wait a few days for some new updates, then try again…
Kind regards
Pedro
Strange, did never see that for me running zypper dup.
Try getting the relevant log for the run triggering the reboot using sudo journalctl -b -X
, with X being a number and -1 being the run before this run, -2 the run before that etc. etc.
Then have a look at the end, you should be able to find zypper running in the log, check what i s happening after that and possibly share that piece of log via susepaste.
Forget when it was, now…
This just happened to me too.
The console said something about updating firmware arch. And now the device is stuck rebooting
