Automatic Login to the forums

Hi!

Is there a way to enable automatic logging in to the forums, so i don’t have to click on log in every time i visit the forums during the day. I somehow couldn’t find that option in the settings.

There are many threads in this sub-forum about this subject, so you can search for them. But in short the answer is “no”.

But, you can do as I do. Leave one window open on a forums page during your session (I use the main page, but any will do), iconize it if you want. Then on opening a window/tab on the forums will have you still loged in. Thus I have only to log in once a day.

I usually manage to stay logged in during the day. But if I close the browser, then I’m going to have to login again on the next visit. Keeping the browser open (so that it remembers session cookies) is the trick. But even that lasts only around one day, or less.
