I run opensuse 11.1 on my laptop acer 5810T timeline with the following kernel:
Linux version 2.6.27.37-0.1-default (geeko@buildhost) (gcc version 4.3.2 [gcc-4_3-branch revision 141291] (SUSE Linux) ) #1 SMP 2009-10-15 14:56:58 +0200
with the following power manager
gnome-power-manager-2.24.1-6.9.1
randomly after the resume following the suspend the gnome session suffer an automatic log out so I have to log in loose the gain from a suspend operation.
I know that this is a very interesting post due to the numerous replies.
I try to do some more test and I verified that sometimes on a resume I have no more access to the text console (Ctrl-Alt-Fn).
In fact at each console I have an hanged image of my X window session instead of the text console. The GUI is at Ctrl-Alt-F8 and at the next suspend-resume I get a logout from my Xwindows session.
Hoping to have much more success with this post…
fresh install of 11.2 except for the /home partition. Same behaviour randomly after reboot from a suspend instead of having the desktop the machine log out.
Please let me know which information I have to supply:
