Hi,
My ISP disconnect me from internet automatically every 12 hours. So, when I’m downloading a bif file (like the suse 11.2 installation), the download stops because of the disconnection until I came and connect the internet manually.
Does somebody knows how to connect automatically, when it disconnected ?

Sorry… I didn’t see “reconect automatically” on the yast → dsl configuration.

Also, have you considered a new ISP? That seems like a fairly crazy

I wish to change to change my ISP but nowadays is not possible here in Uruguay. Because there are only two:
ANCEL: the most popupalr, by cable . It hasonly one package with no disconnection and 1 only ip (but is the more expensive of course).
and the other by air (dedicado) does not work very properly.
So… I have no other choice to use one these
