Hi
When i boot system, autologin (kdm) still requires password. Autologin doesn´t work. Although i enabled check box (in YaST control system) autologin, it still requires password.
How can i fix it?
Thanks
Are you enabled the Autologin in the KDE Control Center?
Go to System Administration -> Login Manager -> Convenience, here go to admin mode, type root password, and check out the Enable Auto-login box & select the user.
Hi, I have the same problem. I’m using OpenSuSE 10.2 but I’m using the GNOME desktop. When I start suse it tries to get to graphic mode then returns to console and enters graphic mode again, showing the logon screen. It seems autologin fails and return to logon screen. When I type user and password logon is successful.
