Would be hard to say without more information. Let’s start with the
version of openSUSE you’re using, how you generated the AutoYAST setup
file, and the contents of the file (you can post them to susepaste.org
and link to them here).
And when you say “nothing happens”, something more specific would be
useful. Does the DVD boot and not use the XML file, do you get an error,
does the DVD skip booting entirely and you boot from the hard drive (or
are told there are no bootable devices, or something like that)?

Sorry for the lack of information,
I am using opensuse 12.3,and I generated the autoyast file from autoinstallation menu in yast2
here is the content SUSE Paste
What I mean nothing happens is I burn the xml file and the installer file to a DVD,but when I want to install it in my Laptop,
It just skip booting, and start normally(Start the windows) .
I have one more question, when we install openSuSe without the autoinstallation .
In the end of the process installation, there is a clone option,is this clone option needed to do autoinstallation or we can clone it in autoyast menu ?
Thank you

What “installer file” did you burn? Can you post a list of the contents
of the DVD that you burned?

I don’t think I understand the question - the “clone installation” option
as I recall creates an autoyast XML file that can be used for cloning the
installation.
Have a look at the instructions at https://doc.opensuse.org/projects/
autoyast/ and see if that helps you.

How exactly did you do that?
Because I have not been able to find a document on it. AFAIK, you use
the original unmodified DVD, and put the xml in a floppy, or on the
network - chapters 5, & 7.
Did you, perchance, just burn together the contents of the DVD and the
control file into a DVD? That will not work, you know. Did you remember
to create the Eltorito image?

Read the documentation of autoyast for procedures that work - floppy,
network server…
> and what is eltorito image?
So, you did not put it. Impossible to boot the DVD, then.
El Torito is the name given to the standard that defines how to put an
emulated floppy image in a CD image that does boot the booting part. You
can find about it in the wikipedia.
Don’t ask me how to create it, though, I’ve never done it myself. Maybe
extracting it from the original DVD, and adding it to the resulting
combined DVD. Just maybe.

No need to “bump” posts here. Not all of us are online every day.
How far are you through the doc, and do you have specific questions about
steps outlined in the doc about how to use it?
