Can someone point me to a basic howto to get autofs to
mount home directories and getting the information from the ldap server
Using ldap to do authentication is working a treat but I am lost as how to get the home direstoies mounted on a nfs
server

OK, it’s for automounting nfs, but the principle is the same… Look at:

Ta, I had a look at that - Mounting works fine
but I have installed the autofs module into Yast
My server exports /home and all the user directories are underneath that
user1
user2
user3
etc
the Yast autofs modules asks for key, options, server, path
