Auto update problem

I get a notification that “new software for my system is available.” It says that 99 security updates are available. When I click “install”, I get:

kdesu(3091)/kdesu (kdelibs) KDESu::KDEsuClient::command: /usr/src/packages/BUILD/kdelibs-4.0.4/kdesu/client.cpp : 196 ] no reply from daemon

Obvious answer is to


su -
zypper up

In a terminal and hope the problem goes away. :wink:
