I get that message when anytime restart. I did a new install of openSUSE 12.3. In fact this is the 3rd time I have done it but the 1st time I have seen that message.
It scares me that it might be redoing a configuration that I want left alone.
What the heck is it ?
This is not anything that I have noticed. So that leaves me in the dark.
When I restart from KDE, I right click on the desktop, then select “Leave”. On the next menu, I click “restart”.
Before restarting, I usually shutdown all applications. I have configured KDE to start from a previously saved session.
Maybe you are seeing a delay to save the state of what you are currently running, so that those applications can be restarted when you next login.
