It’s been a long time since I’ve run Linux, so bare with me. Audio was working and then I had a buzz that would not go away, muted sound then un-muted and now I get nothing.
!!Amixer output

Please note what is highlighted in red, especially the 'Master" volume control. That needs to be switched ON. Switching on the ‘Speaker’ is also likely necessary.
If you can’t figure out how to do this with kmix (assuming a kde desktop) then you could try alsa mixer.
I need to rush to work, so I can’t provide the ‘amixer’ commands, but if all else fails then tonight or on the weekend I could provide the amixer commands (to unmute). But its a simple matter to unmute with a mixer so hopefully you don’t need to wait for me to provide the commands.
Thankyou, best wishes, and good luck.
Edit - and I note the above first openSUSE forum post. Let me say WELCOME to our forum.
