Audio problem

hi there,

I’m a new openSUSE 11.2 user and lately I’ve been getting repeated notifications from KDE saying that “the audio playback device HDA Intel(AD198x Analog) does not work”

I get audio if I stream videos off the Internet but Amarok can’t seem to play audio.

Any help is appreciated.

You should check your settings in System Settings, which device is set for default audio in multi-media section.
